Matt has been coaching for 2 years at Gerrards Cross Bull Lane. Matt really loves seeing his players improve and enjoy their tennis.
This has inspired him to go on courses and to continually improve his knowledge and skills, and he strives to educate himself about the latest coaching theories and techniques.
He finds the variety of coaching different ages and standards one of the most exciting aspects of his work and is happy to do so with any player. He feels it is vital to have the perfect balance on court of having fun whilst learning new things and trying to get the best out of himself and his students.
As a junior Matt represented Bucks County Tennis and is now a regular men’s first team player, playing in the top County League. He has represented the club since the age of 12, competing in teams that regularly won county titles and played at regional level.
