Welcome to Court18 Tennis

Court18 was founded in 2018 when Alex Allen and Dan Shepherd created a coaching partnership at Gerrards Cross Lawn Tennis Club. Gerrards Cross LTC represents one of the flagship traditional tennis clubs in the South East of England and boasts a total of 18 tennis courts as well as a large clubhouse and bar area. We have five artificial clay courts, three artificial grass courts, seven grass courts, two hard courts & one mini red court. Court18’s ethos is to provide a world class coaching programme that offers the opportunity for players of all levels to participate in tennis and enjoy the sport.

We specialise in creating a coaching programme that allows us to tailor each player’s weekly tennis, to their specific needs. We run sessions from beginner tennis through to our performance section: whether you are looking to learn a new sport from scratch or take on competition and compete at the highest level, Court18 will take you through that journey. Court18 also run a schools programme as a starting point for budding young tennis players in the local primary and junior schools. This programme is fundamental to the continued growth of our sport and our linked tennis club Gerrards Cross LTC.

Junior Coaching

Court 18 works to improve and teach Juniors new skills. We offer Junior Development Coaching, where ages 3-18 beginners are welcome to learn and improve skills with our coaches. We also offer Performance Coaching who is for 5-18 years where they can improve their performance and skill levels.

Adult Coaching

Court18 offers a number of different adult coaching options; Tennis Xpress, Mixed Adult Improvers (pay & play), Ladies Intermediates, Adult Advanced Team, Ladies’ and Men’s Team Practices. All these are available for booking, so please get in touch today if one suits you!

Private Coaching

The cost to hire a Court18 private coach ranges between £28-£40 per hour depending on the coach’s experience and coaching qualification level. This allows our coaches to spend time focused on you, to help improve your skill level and performance greatly.

Holiday Camps

Court18 Holiday Camps

Court 18 tennis offers kids holiday camps during school holidays for children of 3- 5 years and 5-14 years of age. Our camps offer a fun and safe environment for children of all ages and abilities to learn the game of tennis and make new friends. The Court 18 coaches love coaching in the holiday camps as its a chance for everyone to let their hair down.
